Short description of error

There doesn't seem to be much way to add a new "Group Input" or "Group Output" node in the "Geometry Node Editor" if you delete the ones you start with.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

Create a geometry node tree and delete its starting nodes from the "Geometry Node Editor".

This is a known issue. As a work around, create a new geometry node modifier and copy and paste from that.

They have been working on it for a while now D10241
I actually thought it would simple to do, but it turned out to be a rather difficult design choice, judging from their conversation.
