Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Short description of error
The same bug can be found starting from the 2.8 version, doesn't happen on the 2.79. doesnt happen when you select bones on the Timeline instead of the dopesheet

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

select a few bones to easily highlight bones in the dopesheet
head to dopesheet
click on a keyframe
all bones deselected

Thanks for the report, I can confirm but similar report already exists on tracker T71615: Select key in dopesheet deselect bone in the viewport

So closing this ticket as a duplicate of T71615.
