Still happens in 3.0 beta

Short description of error
Viewport rendered view with cycles doesn't show a plane when sculpting with multiresolution.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  • open default
  • delete everything
  • add plane
  • add multiresolution modifier and subdivide at least once
  • set viewport to rendered view and renderengine to cycles
  • switch plane to sculpt mode -> plane not displayed.

Thanks for the report, but this is a known issue and has already been reported in T67026: Cycles does not render geo with Multires modifier while in Sculpt mode
So I'll merge the reports.
