Blender Version
Broken: 2.93.6

Description
Artifacts appears in Sculpting workspace if plane is remeshed

But when you use the layout Tab is fully work in object mode and edit mode or scultp mode :

edit mode on layout tab : Works (shading no broken)
sculpt mode on layout tab : Works (shading no broken)

but still broken on sculpt mode tab (same in edit mode in tab sculpting)

Steps to Reproduce

  • Open default scene
  • Delete cube and add Plane
  • Switch active workspace from layout to Sculpting
  • Remesh

Hi, thanks for the report. Can not reproduce on 2.93.7 (4ec6cc412d7f)

Not sure but I suspect this driver issue. Could you please try again with recent driver version: https://docs.blender.org/manual/en/dev/troubleshooting/gpu/windows/nvidia.html

Also, please add system info generated from the Help menu: HelpSave System Info

My drivers is the latest version i have no update i'm use the studio driver also i have tried with game ready driver i have the same result shading broken.
Studio driver: 427.47 NVIDIA

Also i have tried with 2.93.7 candidate (studio driver and game ready driver both are same problem, the shading was broken only in sculpt mode tab) : November 27, 02:23:18 - 63aa10802b32 - zip - 211.90MB
And is exactly the same result in 2.93.7

The problem come when your put the value 0.01 or any other value in remesh voxel size

I just want to say the shading was broken only on the sculpt mode tab ! Not on the Layout tab ! Remind you this !

but the bug come when your use a plane always and sometimes on other all meshs

I don't think this is a bug. This is just z-fighting that is only visible in the sculpting workspace because that workspace is using matcap shading. The other workspaces are using studio shading which doesn't highlight the inverted normals that badly. So the same effect is there, just not as visible.

The voxel remesher is also not made for meshes that are thinner than the voxel size or open geometry. It needs to be a closed mesh with a big enough volume.
