No crash here (tested 3.0 and 3.1)

I still get a couple of files reported missing, can you provide these?
I am also a bit confused why blender tries to access the copybuffer.blend?

Oh well you are use Windows.
Windows doesn't have anything crash on Blender.
Macintosh yes does crash guide on Blender many times because of MacOS 12.1 and 12.2

@Philipp Oeser (lichtwerk) I know you doesn't have Mac.
Let tell to @Michael (michael64) use Macintosh to take test..
Please do not use Windows any more.
