Blender 3.0

Going in Blender 3.0's Cycles rendered view and moving the view around completely freezes my PC and it needs a hard shut down. Same goes for rendering with Cycles.
My PC isn't a problem (RTX 3080) and neither is the file size. This is happening even with only the default cube in the scene.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
I just open blender > switch to Cycles (doesn't matter GPU or CPU) > switch to rendered view > move around the viewport

Are you running the latest GPU driver?

Okay this was pretty silly, but I had to change to CUDA from None in the system preferences. It let me choose GPU compute while I had "None" chosen (by default), but it was just greyed out. In short, wasn't using my GPU at all.
