Short description of error
There is not a simple way to exclude meshes from Export as STL. Whether the mesh is flagged as hidden from viewport, disabled in renderer, both or neither, they all are included in the export.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Simply add a few meshes, toggle hide in the outliner, and export. I have included demonstration files, screenshots, and renders.

Sorry it was a little messy and took a few edits. I screwed up the repro files, I got it straightened out.

Looks the same as T48288. Can't you just use the Selection Only option?

Didn't see that before, "selection only." Is that a new feature?

Figured that "hide from renderer" would impact this, but Export Selection Only is a sufficient workaround, yea. You decide if this one should be closed.
