Description

System Information
Operating system: Windows-8.1-6.3.9600-SP0 64 Bits
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Ti/PCIe/SSE2 NVIDIA Corporation 4.5.0 NVIDIA 472.12

Blender Version
Broken: version: 3.1.0 Alpha, branch: master, commit date: 2022-01-12 19:46, hash: rB97c2c3991620

Short description of error
For example, as far as elastic grab do not subdivide mesh and do not change topology, I expect same or similar performance in Dyntopo mode.
But it works much slower. The same for Transform/rotate tools, mesh filter and other operations, that only deform mesh without any dynamic topology subdivisions.
Reminds me another (fixed) bug T45223: The grab brush lags heavily with Dyntopo enabled and pressure sensitivity for size

Hi, thanks for the report. As you later discovered, it's been reported and confirmed as Known Issue in T76725. I'll merge reports.
Also you might want to try sculpt-dev branch that might resolve this issue, available here:
https://builder.blender.org/download/experimental/

Thanks, missed sculpt branch. Haven`t seen it long time.

Well even if you didn't miss it and even if issue fixed in a branch, reporting issue in master is still a good thing. Until code is in master we can't be 100% sure it's ever gonna be there. Also people might not be aware or want to use a branch so proper report should be available here for them.
