Short description of error
I am trying to figure out how you can bake a displacement map just like how you bake in blender 2.79 Render Bake. The only option is to Bake from Multires. But for the Bake Type, there is no option for displacement . At work, we have to bake high res objects to a low res object but the mesh is never a closed mesh. using the Bake from Multires there no option to bake from Selected to Active. But there is for normal map baking. You can bake from the Bake type Normal or Bake from Multires just like blender 2.79 but that option is not there for displacement{F12828663}

bake. Is there something im missing or a step that i am missing. or that option is not there anymore?

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
import high mesh
import low mesh
apply matiarl
select high mesh
select low
cycle bake
bake type- No displacement only in Bake from Multires

Need the option to bake from selected active option like blender 2.79

Yes, sadly only from Multires atm.
There is a TODO for it though, see T68922: Displacement baking with Cycles.

I still use 2.79 for this.

Not considered a bug though, will have to close.
