Undo does nothing in geometry nodes.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
add nodes in a new geometry nodes tree

make any changes to the tree.

try to undo the change

I don't think its the same. Not only does the tree not update on undo but also if you change a value in a node it also does not change.
