Description

System Information
Operating system: Win10
Graphics card: RTX 3090

Blender Version
Broken: 3.1 master

When you activate the "on cage option" of the subdivide modifier then proceed to select vertices Blender crashes (only when GPU subdiv is turned on)

Temporary fix

Turn off GPU subdivs

Cannot confirm a crash, neither with 3.1 nor with latest master. Is it happening with the default cube on your system? Otherwise please upload a example file.

Also make sure you have the latest GPU driver installed.

Perhaps same as reported in T96344: GPU subdivision: Crash on select in Edit Mode with X-Ray on and Mirror Modifier
