System Information
Operating system: Fedora 35 Xfce Spin
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti

Blender Version
Broken: 3.1
Worked: 2.93

Short description of error
Gizmos that have a circle around them are significantly harder to grab, probably pixel perfect and don't work from all angles

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. Switch to Extrude or Scale tool
  2. Try to use the gizmo on of the axis

Here's the video. On 2.93 it works perfectly fine from any angle and distance

Hi, thanks for the report. Looks similar as reported in T96435: Regression: very long input delay when dragging some gizmos handles in macOS
Can you confirm?
My bad, other report is not related with this. T96435 is reported on master (3.2)

Thanks Pratik, but my issue is not the same. In the video I don't actually try to use them, I'm just trying to find the angle and position where they would highlight. And as you can see, from many angles the axis doesn't highlight (stays dark), if I use the gizmo in this case it will scale or extrude in all directions at once

Same problem with factory preferences?: Edit → Preferences → Save & Load (3 horizontal lines) → Load Factory preferences

Sorry. No, with factory preferences everything works fine. Do you have any idea what to change to make it work with my settings?

Hi, thanks for the update.
Not very sure. Sometimes add-ons, changes in input, navigation preferences may cause this

Issue does not happen with factory prefs so I think we can close this ticket.
Of course, don't hesitate to comment if problem persists with factory preferences.
