Description

System Information
Operating system: Windows-10-10.0.19043-SP0 64 Bits
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080/PCIe/SSE2 NVIDIA Corporation 4.5.0 NVIDIA 496.76

Blender Version
Broken: version: 3.1.0 Beta, branch: master, commit date: 2022-01-30 18:48, hash: rB07514def194a
Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Short description of error
When the "Affect Only Origins" is toggled I usually would like to give a precise location or rotation to the Origin but I can't do it because it only works with operations I do in the viewport. If I try to use the N panel transform properties, it moves/rotates/scales the object.

It's weird as I see the location change in real time when I use G but if I do the same manually on the number field the result is different.

It's confusing AND limiting.
I always considered this a bug and because I run into it again and again, here's a report.

This came up before, see T71437: Affect Only: Origin/Parents not working in Transform Panel of the 3D View, but this option is an option for the transform system, not the object properties.
It would be a nice addition, but is not considered a bug currently, will merge into T71437.
