Short description of error

Blender Crashes When Using "On Cage" On Subdivision Modifier

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible).

I've created a rough human model using Mirror and Subdivision Modifier, and when I click the "On Cage" button on the Subdiv modifier, Blender crashes on any subsequent modelling action.
I've verified this several times from scratch, and whilst retrieving a saved file.

This is most likely the same as T96344. You can disable GPU subdivision as a workaround: Preferences -> Viewport -> Subdivision and turning off the GPU option there.

Appears you're right. Feel free to mark as duplicate.

EDIT:
Although after reading T96344 I did have mirror modifier on, but after disabling GPU Subdivision, I have mirror modifier applied. Will try to repliate.
