Wipe transition effect not working. There's no iris, wipe, or any of the effects working, neither in defaut fade mode or manual transition.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Open blender vse
add two strips with a part overlaying
select the strips
add wipe transition

This has been fixed in 3.2 master in commit rB540bfbbb2796: Fix T96582: Wipe effect not working and added to T96241: 3.1: Potential candidates for corrective releases.

I'll merge this report into T96582: Regression: VSE Wipe transition does not work.
