Description

System Information
Operating system: Linux-5.16.0-5-amd64-x86_64-with-glibc2.33 64 Bits
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060/PCIe/SSE2 NVIDIA Corporation 4.5.0 NVIDIA 510.54

Blender Version
Broken: version: 3.2.0 Alpha, branch: master, commit date: 2022-04-02 04:22, hash: rBa567bef5ccae
Worked: Prior to GPU subdivision

Short description of error
Sometimes when subdivision is used, it changes the dimensions of the object. But when using GPU subdivision, these changes in dimensions don't show up in the side bar.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. Add a cube to the scene.
  2. Take note of the dimensions of the cube. (E.G. 2x2x2m - This can be found in the properties of the object or in the side panel Press N in 3D viewportItemDimensions)
  3. Add a sub-division surface modifier to the cube. Notice that the dimensions still read as the original dimensions (2x2x2m) even though the object is now smaller.
  4. Turn off GPU subdivision in the preferences and notice the correct dimensions are now listed in the UI.
