Short description of error
Try opening in Blender 3.1 or 3.2 (GPU subdiv enabled) the following simple file shared here:

You can also reproduce the crash by following these steps:
Open default scene. On the cube add two Subdivision Surf modifiers. In the last modifier in the stack you modify Viewport Levels to 0 and it will crash.
