Description

System Information
Operating system: Windows 10 pro
Graphics card: RTX 3070

Blender Version
3.1.0 and 3.1.2
Broken: Creating black color when two objects intersect/overlap in Cycles render
Worked: Worked in the 3.0.1 and previous versions

Short description of error
When objects overlap, the black colour appears. This is a common phenomenon among Blender users. How do I know this? I made a video on this issue on youtube and they commented saying they are also facing this issue. I've already reported it, but no one has fixed the problem. Could you please look into it?
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
After opening Blender Duplicate the cube and move it a little bit(let them overlap) and now change it to Cycles. the problem will be visible

This is not considered a bug currently, it's a documented trade-off of the new method.
