Short description of error
In 3.1.2, Tweak mode was used to directly grab an element and operate on it with a given tool. For instance, Edge Slide. In Tweak mode you can grab the selected edge (or loop) and directly slide it without needing to use the widget (which is often way off screen).

In 3.2, Tweak mode always just moves the selected elements.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

Here are two videos examples.

  • Open default scene
  • In edit mode -> select bevel tool (or any other)
  • Change to face selection mode
  • Change drag mode to tweak
  • Click and drag over any face

This behavior is probably expected as Campbell said in T96885

I downloaded the 3.2.1 version, and Tweak is still broken. It only moves instead of using the current tool. For instance, Edge Slide, when I try and use Tweak mode it just moves the selected edges instead of sliding them. This is a big problem. It worked correctly in 3.1.
