Short description of error
import any fbx file or create extra curve object(addon extra curve), RuntimeError: Error: Object 'Obj' cant't be selected because it is not in View Layer "view Layer'

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  • Open default scene
  • Import any fbx will throw the python error

  • Enable Add Curve: Extra Objects addon -> Add Simple Curve
