Operating system: macOS-10.15.7-x86_64-i386-64bit 64 Bits

Blender Version
Broken: version: 3.4.0 Alpha, branch: master, commit date: 2022-09-24 17:57, hash: rB4e7983e07320
Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Short description of error
Tried out using a very simple UV Sphere, just removing a loop then select pairs of edges and try to 'Bidge Edge Loops' and this is what I've got

Loop Pairs option

Open Loop option

Open/Closed Loop with a run down straight on both loops appeared to work as expected, but cannot see the differences between the meaning Open/Closed here, can someone please explain:

This is the file:

Your selection in the file doesn't make sense for bridging, so I think the output is expected. You need to select two connect loops, not many separate edges.

The Loops Pairs option works for the case when you want to connect multiple independent pairs like this:

Can you please attach the file you've been using for this video? I would like to see how you've added the loops.
Regards.
