Blender Version
Broken: version: 3.4.0 Alpha, branch: master, commit date: 2022-10-17 22:08, hash: rB85875455b917
Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Just shift + ctrl + right mouse button drag.

Also tested with Factory settings.

This may be the same issue as T101708. Do you use thick lines?

Edit — can you test the fix from D16251? I’d like to know if it works properly, and if the outlines around the nodes look good on HiDPI. Here is that version of the script.

Yes, I use thick lines.
Your node_wrangler.py is doing the trick with thick lines.
Will the updated node_wrangler.py come with the next daily build when I compile tonight?

No, it needs to be reviewed by a maintainer for the add-on but I’m not too sure who those are. In the mean time you can just use this custom version.
