Blender Version
Broken: version: 3.3.1, branch: master, commit date: 2022-10-04 18:35, hash: rBb292cfe5a936
Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)
Short description of error
Animation Adjustment of total Animation Key Frames Amount no longer 'scales'. For instance, if a birds wing animates to 100 with KF points of every 25, and you change the total amount in the 'END' window of the Animation Key Frames, the adjusted animation is no longer scaled. Its 'slices' the animation instead of reducing it as it did in past versions of Blender. Is this a bug or a new way of adjusting animations?
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
- Select a part with several key frame points, or even one with just 1 and 50 or 1 and 2000, etc. This must be pre-animated.
- In Animation Window, tap on the yellow Animation strip to make it active so Active Strip window is on
- In Active Strip window, change END entry from high number to low number, such as 1000 down to 100, 2400 to 100.
- The result should be that all your key frame points are lost and you have sliced off the animation section instead of scaling it down. Usually in Blender, your adjusted total amount evenly scales down or up.
To get around this, I reopend the file in 3.2, adjusted all animations, then brought it back to Blender 3.3 and I was good to go.
I can upload the Blender scene if you like.
