Please open Blender's installation directory and double click on the blender_debug_gpu.cmd. This will start Blender in debug mode and create log files. Try to reproduce the error again. Once it crashes or you close Blender manually the Windows Explorer should open and show you up to two files, a debug log and the system information. Add them to your bug report by clicking on the upload button as shown in the screenshot below or via drag and drop. Please also upload the crash log located in C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Local\Temp\[project name].crash.txt (or simply type %TEMP% into the path bar of the Windows Explorer).

This looks similar to T101675.

Yes looks same to some extent. Thanks @Sun Kim (persun) :)
@Larry Arnold (Mutt), could you check whether updating GPU driver solves the issue?: https://docs.blender.org/manual/en/dev/troubleshooting/gpu/windows/amd.html

Thank you. Updating the drivers from AMD directly worked.
note: I used the auto detect from AMD and it gave me the correct drivers for my system.
note: before I downloaded the drivers I checked the installation path. I found there was no AMD file folder, the C:/AMD folder did not exist. I can only assume that HP did not ship that folder and drivers with the computer when I purchased it.
so if anyone else has an HP with an AMD chip set. check to see if there is a folder under C:/AMD listed. if not then suggest to download the drivers directly from AMD. For us non-computer savy users, I check "Drivers" it only shows what it shows and report that. Not knowing there are missing divers. So please add that to your questions to ask from the start. It helps so much. And will cut down on confusion and the massive fustration I had. Now we know. Remembering it is a whole other problem. :) thanks again for all your support.
