Description

System Information
Operating system: macOS-13.1-arm64-arm-64bit 64 Bits
Graphics card: Apple M1 Pro Apple 4.1 Metal - 83

Blender Version
Broken: version: 3.5.0 Alpha, branch: master, commit date: 2023-01-04 16:30, hash: rB2540a52f9135
Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Short description of error
Multires modifier does not properly propagate UV data when 'Sculpt Base Mesh' is unchecked. When the property is enabled, the result is as expected.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. Add Suzanne and assign a texture mapped using UV coordinates to the albedo channel
  2. Go to sculpt mode + set viewport shading to 'Material preview mode'
  3. Add a multiresolution modifier + subdivide once or more
